The bursary programme aims to contribute to building evaluation capacity in developing countries. The selection gives priority to applicants who are active in the evaluation communities in their home countries. After the Conference, successful candidates are encouraged to share their experience with other evaluators in their country and region. In turn, the presence of evaluators from all over the world enriches the conference experience for all participants, as it contributes to a diversity of perspectives, including on the realities of undertaking evaluations in developing countries.
Eligible candidates are:
Applications will go through a strict review process during which additional information may be asked from the applicants.
Applicants and eventual beneficiaries agree to participate in specific events organised in relation to the bursary programme during or outside the conference.
Please note the EES bursary support can only be received once by each individual: individuals who received bursary support under previous conferences are not eligible.

EES wishes to acknowledge and thank the donors who will contribute funds to enable evaluators from developing countries to join the conference.
